Our beautiful Woodland Springs Touring Park is a touring caravan and camping site set within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. We are Adult Only with everyone being 18+ so you can experience the ultimate in peace and quiet. The surrounding wood and farmland are a haven of wildlife and over 45 species of birds have been seen on site along with Fox, Deer and Stoat.
Whether you like to just sit around and enjoy your break or go and explore the area we are the site for you. We are easy to get to being just 1.5 miles from the A30 yet have no roads along the site boundaries. This ease of access makes it very easy for you to explore Dartmoor and Devon or even further afield. If outdoor pursuits are your preference then there is so much to do in the area ranging from walking to more extreme activities, you can even explore Dartmoor on horseback or with a high paced Nordic walking. You can even hire electric bicycles for the ultimate lazy day.
There are also many options for making the most of the area with guided walks and tours being available in the area. As there is no light pollution on site you will need a torch but the payoff is the fantastic clear night sky’s that can be seen when the clouds stay away. Within an hour you could also be at a beach on the North or South coast of Devon.
If you do not have your own caravan, tent or motorhome then why not hire one from the many companies that hire these out. Whatever you have, come and stay and make the most of our award winning toilet and shower block and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have a small licenced shop selling the basics and also bake bread to order, just think you could sit out in the sun with a great cup of tea or coffee eating croissant or the like for breakfast, bliss.
