Dupere Design helps to create individual and beautiful interiors. Their showroom in Modbury – a small historic town in the South Hams and a popular holiday destination – offers a full interior design service mainly for residential properties and holiday homes in the south west.
These range from contemporary waterside apartments, restoration projects, country cottages, period country houses to modern and listed townhouses.
Commissions vary from styling individual rooms to entire houses. Thanks to their team of excellent subcontractors Dupere Design can manage a project from concept to completion and create a home that is full of character, comfortable and tailored around personal tastes, lifestyle and practical needs. However, they are equally happy working alongside outside contractors and architects chosen by the client. When it comes to styling Dupere likes to be creative with the use of colour, detail and space but is always careful that the end result is unique and doesn’t look “designed”.
The Modbury showroom is divided into two – the studio and the shop. The studio has a large selection of fabrics, papers, paints, flooring, hardware, decorative accessories, lighting and furniture to choose from. Services available include upholstery, curtain and blind making, loose covers and bespoke soft furnishings.
The most recent addition to the business is the shop which has lots of beautiful accessories and other useful bits and pieces for the home. Dupere Design likes to support British makers and designers, especially if they are local, and are always on the look out for things that are new and unusual. Whether you are searching for a gift or just a little something for your home you will more than likely find it in the shop!
