The first 12 months of trading is test and a challenge for any start up business and the story has been no different here at Ransoms Residential. Building our brand. Making local connections. Proving our worth and trying to push our way into an already existing market.
Despite our many years in the property industry, our expert local knowledge and our experience of managing hundreds of rental properties in the past – getting the message out there has been tough! However, in truth, we have loved every minute. We’ve had great fun meeting lots of new people, advertising and using social media.
In just 12 months we have evolved hugely by listening to our clients and adapting what we do and how we communicate to ensure they get what they want. At this point in time Ransoms has a 100% instruction record.
Our original plan to provide top quality lettings services to landlords, without investment draining costs has worked exceptionally well and is now our entire ethos. In an ever changing industry where ‘online agents’ offer low fees and the High Street agents are putting up fees to meet expanding overheads – we feel Ransoms has slotted perfectly in the middle. We offer the low ‘online agent’ prices, but with friendly, local staff which avoids being a faceless organisation. Very important we think!
