Mytakeonpretty was born in 2012 in Silverstone, home to British Motor Racing. In fact, it was the images of cars and campers that first proudly and colourfully appeared on the tumblers. The hand painted motors are always popular gifts for the gents, especially around Father’s Day.
Following that success, our range extended and soon flowers, birds and peacocks appeared on wine glasses and was often sold as sets for special occasions or unique present for teachers, Aunties and friends.
Our customers love the personal aspect of the gift, as names or messages can be easily added, as much as the originality of the work. Mytakeonpretty is always happy to accommodate and to paint to customer’s specification to make the experience even more personal. We pride ourselves that our ink touches people hearts and bring smiles to their faces. Brides and grooms proudly hold their champagne flutes decorated to match the colour scheme of the wedding and marked with their wedding date and friends fondly exchange wine glasses that feature their favourite flowers. Yes, that’s right as anything can be painted.
In 2015, the company relocated to Devon and that event prompted the need to set up the website: mytakeonpretty.weebly.com and an online shop. Our orders are processed promptly and efficiently and we now despatch to other countries.
