Peritus Building Company

And here is one we built earlier!

Peritus Building Company has been certainly been around the block and know what they are doing. The South Devon Building Company based near Totnes are famous for their attention to detail whether it is an extension they are building or a new build house.

This video shows a pair of new build houses that they have built from scratch on a site that used to be an old printing press in Victorian times and before that a dairy. The new houses were called The Old Press and The Old Dairy.

Angus is the Project Manager of our work and looks after our client’s budget to ensure that everything is spent wisely and that we are on time with our projects.

Colin Shearer

Colin Shearer - Peritus Building Company

Colin is our most experienced builder and has been in building game for over 40 years. He is a true perfectionist and has a strength that belies his years.

Colin can also be found behind the stumps for Harberton Cricket Club during the summer and is a lamb farmer when not on site.

Kenny Vasey

Kenny Vasey - Peritus Building Company

Kenny can turn his hand to just about anything, but says his preferred trade is decorating. He is really good at delivering a first class finish to all of our projects so is a great man to come last in the process!

A safe pair of hands, Kenny used to be a professional goal-keeper for various football clubs starting his career at Arsenal and finishing at Torquay United.

They have got some great reviews too. Here is the owner Lesley Light talking about her renovation of her Grade II listed home.

“I have no hesitation recommending Angus and his team. They did a fantastic job on our grade 2* listed property in Reigate Surrey. This included a full renovation of the lower ground floor including excavation, underfloor heating, high spec kitchen renewal of all mechanical services, electrics and plumbing. New Limestone tiling and restoration of the existing original purbeck and terracotta. Most notable however was their excellent carpentry. The listing required carpentry that matched the existing and Angus’s team were able to meet the exacting requirements of the conservation officer. Angus was professional and courteous at all times, a pleasure to work with!”
